Adki

Study as usual. Take a paid survey when you want a break.

Adki is an add-on for Anki on your computer. It shows small banner ads while you review. At an interval you pick, it offers one short paid survey that is already matched to you. You keep a share of what each survey pays, and cash out when your balance is ready.

Coming soon to Anki desktop. For adults 18 and over in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.

Can reviewing pay?

Example only. Each survey shows its own reward and length before you start.

How it works

  1. Install the add-on and sign in

You confirm you are 18 or older and give your country, postal code and gender, so survey partners can match surveys to you.

  2. Pick your interval

Every 40 cards unless you change it. You can choose any interval from 15 cards or 5 minutes up.

  3. Review with small banners

Banners sit above and below your card and never cover it. Space and Enter still answer as usual.

  4. Take the survey, or close it

When your interval comes up, one survey that already fits you opens inside Anki, with its reward and length at the top. Close it with the X to keep studying.

When your reviews are done, an Earn more panel lists every survey that fits you. You can turn earning off at any time, which hides the banners and stops the surveys.

Payouts

What you earn
Each survey shows its reward before you start. Your balance is credited once the survey partner confirms you completed it.
When you can cash out
Credits are held for 30 days, because survey partners can reverse a completion they later reject. After the hold, the money is yours to cash out.
How you are paid
From $5, to PayPal, Venmo or a gift card. The methods offered depend on your country.
Checks before the first payout
You need a verified email address. A person reviews your first cash-out before it is sent.

The full rules are in the Payout Terms.
